There are many features on Spotify's Ai DJ - but none like the audio mixer

Spotify is making another leap of changes to its AI DJ Maestro
Now you can click on your song request, so there are more custom songs to choose from
They offer a new way to have a DJ listening session, but other features in the app are monitoring it
Despite its divisive nature, AI DJ is undeniably one of the most used and popular features in Spotify's music devices ecosystem, and the company is taking more steps to expand its capabilities.
Spotify brings several new features to AI DJ, and provides premium subscribers "a new way to caright the vibe of their listening sessions in real-time," according to the company's announcement.
This marks the second biggest update to AI DJ - May's Music on Demand, which lets you interact with DJs and request updates to your listening session based on the music you want to hear.
According to Spacify's announcement, the forum has seen a resurgence in DJ apps since the launch of the request feature.Due to this increase, it's only a matter of time before new features for DJs arrive - after all, that's Spotify style.
Requests and claims to come to Dj
In addition to the Spanish version of the music application bringing the work of DJ Livy, the English edition of the maestro is getting two new changes.
For the first time, subscribers will be able to choose from a personal hand to a DJ, which will be useful when you need a little inspiration when choosing what you want at the moment.
When you apply, you can choose from three personalized cues to start your DJ session, each offering their own genre and listening. For example, you can choose "uplifting music that helps me romance my day job" or "music for staring into space."
As well as using your voice to interact with the DJ, you now have the option to write your request, which is the most visible - on Spotify. This gives you many DJ options and can be used in English and Spanish, but it can be the best if you want to make a request when you are traveling or in your area, and you don't want to speak out loud.
A nice touch, but nothing
It's great to see Spotify expanding its huge range of features and finding new ways to tailor its different app experiences to the needs of music fans. While these new touches add some value to AI DJ, Spotify should focus on DJ performance.
One of the disadvantages of AI DJ that users cannot overcome is the repetitive playback of songs.AI DJ prides itself on its ability to generate a hybrid playback session of regular favorites and new music discoveries, but it seems to get stuck on the former and I think it's too heavy handed to give me songs that are already on my radar.
Spotify has yet to fix this, and as a result, other features are stealing the spotlight – it’s the new audio mixing tool that I’m still hooked on. Now that Spotify Wrapped is almost upon us, the company is nearing a new year, and with a new CEO now in place, I’m hoping for some exciting but worthwhile changes for the platform’s ecosystem.
