"I'm very disappointed," the Apple co-founder said of artificial intelligence.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was asked on Monday about the tech company's upcoming 50th anniversary on April 1.Appearing on CNN, Woz was in a reflective mood, talking about how proud Apple is and what it's become. But when asked about the future, and AI in particular, he seemed to give some answers that CNN wasn't expecting.

Woz said it seems like everyone is trying to "create a brain" with artificial intelligence, but that everyone knows how to create a brain in a process that "takes nine months."The tech legend was clearly joking that a nine-month human pregnancy was the only way to properly create a child.

"I haven't used AI much, but I have asked some questions to test it," Wozniak said.“Right now, when I ask a question about a key word or a direction I want to go in, the AI comes back with a lot of clarity on that topic, but not what I really wanted.”

Woz goes on to say that it can be “hard to explain” what he means, but “I always read things and they seem very dry and perfect, and I want something from people and I'm very disappointed.”

The CNN anchor seemed unfazed by Woz's negative views and asked predictable questions, thinking he would be more receptive to the idea that artificial intelligence will revolutionize technology in a positive way.

"Do you think it can improve and eventually replace humans in some way?"asked the CNN anchor.

Woz replied that everything is getting better, but added: "I don't see any sign yet that we know enough about how the brain works to get to the point where it takes a person's place, has feelings, cares about things, wants to help others, wants to be a good person."

"No, I haven't seen any signs of that," he continued."You can't say something that can't happen with technology."

Woz went on to say that "one day he might be really smart" and might even "understand you as a different person."But he explained that he "hasn't lived a human life," which he says is necessary to "understand what people go through, to understand sometimes those little nuances in your speech."
